About ISSF
The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) is a not-for-profit research and development organisation which was founded in 1996 and serves as the focal point for the global stainless steel industry.

The members of the International Stainless Steel Forum are producers of stainless steel (integrated mills and rerollers) and stainless steel development associations.
The Forum and its work are governed by the ISSF Board, which meets twice a year. Elected by the members, the Board is composed of up to 18 members. The Board elects the Executive Committee which consists of the ISSF Chairman, four Vice Chairmen, the Treasurer and the Secretary-General and four other members. The Executive Committee meets one to two times a year.

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) is an international trade association with high public visibility. The Members of ISSF represent most of the globe’s international stainless steel output.
Members can access the worldstainless Extranet through the homepage of the main website.
Although ISSF acts completely independently from the World Steel Association AISBL having its own budgets, board, etc., ISSF is not a separate legal entity. The World Steel Association provides administrative support to ISSF.
