The Nickel Institute President delivered the "Nickel Advantage" at ISSDA 20th Anniversary/CRU Stainless Steel Conference in Mumbai. Stephen Barnett gave an invited presentation "The Advantages which Nickel brings to Stainless Steels" to over 300 delegates from the stainless steel industry at the ISSDA 20th anniversary conference.

The BSSA Annual Lunch, Forum and AGM will be on 22 April 2010 in Sheffield and the BSSA Conference and Exhibition on 10/11 November 2010.

Very successful and well received Chemical, and Food & Beverage workshops were delivered to audiences in Tianjin and Nanjing, China, during the week of 17-20 November. Collected data indicate that Types 304 and 316 have become the standard materials in food contact applications and have been incorporated into the Chinese national standard.
