The Euro Inox "Tables of Technical Properties", which are also accessible as a searchable multi-criteria data base, have recently been updated and extended to reflect the current version of EN 10088-1 and -2. Besides chemical compositions, mechanical and physical properties, they also provide information about (near-)equivalent EN and AISI grades. The online version is available in Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Nickel-containing stainless steels S30400 and S31600 are used increasingly to make fine wire mesh screens because they are durable and can withstand the corrosive effects of sanitizing agents. The largest market for such screens today is the pharmaceutical industry.
