
The Brazilian Stainless Steel Conference in its 10th edition will next year be held in Rio de Janeiro just in the week after the largest oil and gas industry event in Latin America , Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference . Due to the discovery of huge oil reserves in the called pre-salt area near Rio is our intention to focus the next Conference on subjects related to Oil and Gas but not exclusively.
Since its first edition in 1988, the conference have contributed to build up a Brazillian Stainless Steel Forum. This international edition is an outstanding opportunity for national and foreign specialists to convey and discuss stainless steel technology issues and innovations.
The conference is organized by Nucleo Inox and sponsored by Arcelor Mittal Inox Brasil and Villares Metals among others. The topics discussed will include:

If you wish to present a paper, please submit a 400 word abstract to arturoc@nucleoinox.org.br before 15th February 2010. Dead line for complete Papers is April 30th, 2010.
The official language of the Conference is English. Papers will be published in the CD-ROM of the Proceedings. Selected papers will be published in Brazilian scientific journals. If you are considering attending the conference, please block out the date in your diary!
