General information
Centro Inox is the Italian stainless steel development association. It is a non-profit-making association founded in 1962. The association’s object is to develop all types of stainless steel and all types of products: flat (sheets, coils, plates), long (bars, rods, wirerods, profiles, etc.) and tubes (welded and seamless).
The main goals of Centro Inox are:
· maintenance and consolidation of those sectors in which stainless steel is now widely used
· exploration of new sectors where the applications of stainless steel can find space side by side with and/or in place of traditional-type materials
The operational philosophy that Centro Inox has developed over the years is based on the belief that the overall promotion of stainless steel constitutes part of its quality and that the Italian stainless steel market has its own specific identity, different from that of other types of steels. In addition to the promotional action, thanks to its great experience, Centro Inox gives specific advisory service, with data and information on the selection of suitable materials, on the technology of processing and installation of stainless steels for every sector of application, like for example chemical and petrochemical, food and beverage, household appliances, transport, building and infrastructures, potable water, energy, textile, pharmaceutical, water treatment, etc.
Members
